Have you seen these Maori traditional instruments? We have! We saw them at the Museum when we went for a visit. Come into our room and check on our dictionary to find out their names. The trip was awesome, fantastic, great, epic, incredible, magical and interesting. We also spent time looking at, thinking about and drawing Maori carvings with manaia, lizards and tikis.
We had a Kaupapa Maori Day last week with a Mihi Whakatu for the Middles, Models, and Juniors. Kindle 1 was our buddy class. We loved it.
It was Ice Skating last Friday night. Some of us went with our families.
The Learning Commitment Presentations have been great. Come and see our posters/information in the Library Corner.
In Maths Mrs Unahi is teaching us about perpendicular and parallel lines, and shapes.
At news on Fridays we are working in groups of three and one person has to remember ALL of the news for the group so that they can tell the rest of the class!
On the last day of the term Elective groups will be sharing in the Hall.
Marc B has left and gone back to Quebec City in Canada. We miss him already! Lucky Marc and his family are having a holiday in Australia at the moment.
